A New Season for Blended Family Matters Academy

Same Mission. Same Heart. A New Season of Leadership.

Over the past year, God has been doing a deep work in us. As we've spent time praying, seeking His direction, and growing together, He's made something increasingly clear: Blended Family Matters Academy was never meant to be carried by just one of us.

While many of you first connected with Coach Jess through Jessica Pickens' Realities and our Pickens' Realities & Blended Family Truths podcast, God has been leading us into a new season—one where Coach Ty and Coach Jess lead this ministry together as husband and wife.

Our mission hasn't changed. Our passion for strengthening blended families hasn't changed.

Our desire to point couples toward hope, healing, practical tools, and Christ-centered unity hasn't changed.

What has changed is that our branding now reflects what God has been building all along—a ministry led together.

As part of this new season, we've updated our profile photos, logos, and social media handles so they better reflect who we are today.

Instead of seeing Coach Jess represented alone, you'll now see Coach Ty & Coach Jess together across our platforms.

This isn't just a new look. It's a reflection of the way God has called us to serve blended families—as partners in marriage, ministry, and coaching.
